Natalie Durant Named Registrar
The following is a message from Senior Associate Provost Chuck Colarulli.
Natalie Durant has been appointed Registrar, Director of Registration and Records. Natalie replaces Doreen Lay, who retired this month after 44 years at the University.
The Registrar is responsible for the administration and operational activities of the Registrar's Office, including all registration periods for undergraduate and graduate students, and reports to the Senior Associate Provost. The Registrar provides the leadership necessary to ensure the integrity, security and confidentiality of academic records, and maintains compliance with relevant state and federal regulations.
Natalie comes to the University from Manchester Community College, having served 10 years in their Registrar’s Office, the last five years as the Registrar. She has an MS in management from Albertus Magnus College and a BA in international trade from the University of Connecticut.
We are very pleased to have such an experienced Registrar, particularly a Registrar who has extensive experience with Banner, Acalog (electronic catalog), and the National Student Clearinghouse. Natalie will be joining the University in early October. Drew Ackerman will serve as Interim Registrar.
