Study Abroad This January!

Want to study abroad, but can’t find the time in your schedule to go for an entire semester? Short-term programs are affordable, they enable students in highly structured programs to study abroad, and they offer AUC credit!

Come to an info session this fall to learn about these upcoming January programs- open to all majors!


Landmarks and Legends of Italy (6 credits)

Info Session: Tues., Sept. 24, 12:30-1:30 p.m., A322

This integrative course in the humanities and art is a quest to uncover the layered cultures of the Italian peninsula. Immerse yourself in the history, culture and the arts of Rome and Florence.


Ecology, Community and Culture- Galapagos Islands, Ecuador (3 credits)

Info Session: Tues., Sept. 24, 12:30-1:30 p.m., A321

AUCC 190 or SPA 300

Experience the Galapagos Islands, one of the world’s most beautiful and biologically diverse locations, as you learn about the current threats to this pristine environment. Study the key issue of today's debate on the relationship between human beings and nature and the fragility of this ecological balance.


Art & Environment: The Sustainable Studio in Ghana (3 credits)

Info Session: Tues., Sept. 10, 12:30-1:30 p.m., Art School 217

EXS 390, ART345, ENV 345

This course addresses how artists adapt to and respond to environmental change by observing the studio art practice of traditional and contemporary Ghanaian art. Students will travel to Ghana in January, then participate in a half-semester based-semester course this spring.
