Wednesday Evening Power Outage in D-Complex

The D-Complex residence halls lost power for about four hours Wednesday evening (Sept. 11), affecting approximately 225 students.

Residents had been told to move to the Sports Center or stay with a friend for the night, but were allowed to return to their rooms once power was fully restored at about 9 p.m.

The power outage was caused by a transformer malfunction. The problem has been repaired, and no further outages are expected.

No other buildings on campus were affected.
