Roasting Dick Cote

The Department of Athletics invites the University community to the Richard L. Cote Retirement Roast on Saturday, June 24, beginning at 6 p.m. (dinner at 7 p.m.), at Gengras Student Union.
Cote will be retiring in August after almost 36 years at the University as an athletics administrator and coach.
The cost to attend the event is $50 for faculty and staff, and $75 for those outside the University. Portions of the net proceeds will be directed to the Henry Cote Scholarship Fund (in honor of Dick’s father) and towards a personal gift for Cote and his wife.
If you would like to be a “roaster,” please contact Associate Athletics Director Jim Keener at 860.768.5063 or jkeener@hartford.edu. The Department of Athletics also will be putting together a “memory book” with letters from Cote’s friends. If you would like to have a letter included in the memory book, please send it by June 16 to Jim Keener, University of Hartford, The Sports Center, 200 Bloomfield Ave., West Hartford, CT 06117.
