Bernard den Ouden, professor of philosophy, A&S, presented two papers in July. In Tunisia, at a conference called “New Directions in the Humanities,” den Ouden presented "Indigenous Voices and Sacred Spaces." At the Institute for the Advanced Study of Philosophy in Vermont he presented "Comparing Aspects of Native American Thought With Stoicism."
The paper presented in Tunisia will be published in the International Journal of the Humanities, and the paper presented in Vermont will be published in Contemporary Philosophy.
