The Hartford women clinched first place in the America East Conference on Sunday with a 1-0 victory over 20th-ranked Boston University. The regular season title was the 10th in school history and the first since the 2002 season. The Hawks are now unbeaten in their last eight games.

As the No. 1 seed heading into the America East Championship, Hartford earns a first-round bye, and heads straight to the semifinal round on Sunday.

First-round action will take place on Friday, Oct. 27, at Al-Marzook Field. No. 5 New Hampshire will face No. 4 Binghamton at 3 p.m., and No. 6 Vermont will take on No. 3 Maine at approximately 6 p.m.

On Sunday, Oct. 29, No. 2 Boston University will face off against the winner of the Vermont/Maine game at 1 p.m. At approximately 4 p.m., top-seeded Hartford will play the winner of the New Hampshire/Binghamton game.

The winners of the two semifinal games will face off in the championship match on Nov. 4 or 5, on the home field of the highest remaining seed.
