This will be a busy week for University of Hartford basketball both on and off the court, starting today with the debut of a television show featuring Coach Jennifer Rizzotti.
The first of three installments of “Hartford Hawks Basketball with Jen Rizzotti” will air today (Tuesday, Nov. 28) at 5:30 p.m., on NESN. The 30-minute episode will be re-broadcast on Saturday, Dec. 2, at 2:30 p.m.
The first show will feature a recap of last year’s historic season, a profile of junior forward Danielle Hood, coaching tips, and features on seniors Kate DiDonato and Danielle Matulis.
High-Profile Home Games
The women’s basketball team will have two high-profile home games this week at the Chase Arena. On Wednesday at 7 p.m., the women will take on Big East opponent Seton Hall, and on Saturday at 2 p.m., the Hawks will face nationally ranked Brigham Young University. Come early for Saturday’s game to see the unveiling of the Hawks’ 2005-06 America East championship banner!
The men’s basketball team, coming off its first win of the season against Dartmouth, will play Cornell on the road this evening (Tuesday), and will take on Long Island University at home on Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Chase Arena.
All regular season home games are free for University of Hartford students.
