David H. Goldenberg, dean of Hillyer College, presented a paper titled "The Florida State Ruling on the Unconstitutionality of Vouchers—Comparison and Implications" at the Education Law Association’s annual conference, which was held Oct. 10-13 in the Bahamas.
Professor and Dean of Research Devdas Shetty and Tom Eppes, assistant professor of electrical and computer engineering, CETA, presented two papers at the SPIE (International Society for Optical Engineering) Optics East Conference in Boston the week of Oct. 1-4. The papers were titled “Optical Inspection of Holes in Jet Engine Blades” and “Non-contact Vibration Analysis Using Innovative Laser-based Methodology.”
SPIE Optics East is a multidisciplinary event comprising 30 conference sessions focusing on sensors, life sciences, advanced telecom, and core technologies such as opto-mechatronics, photonic crystals and nanotechnology.
