A Barney professor publishes in an economics journal, and education faculty make national and local presentations.
Farhad Rassekh
“The Interplay of International Trade, Economic Growth, and Income Convergence: A Brief Intellectual History of Recent Developments” by Farhad Rassekh, professor of economics in the Barney School of Business, was published in the December 2004 edition of the Journal of International Trade and Economic Development, Vol. 13, Issue 4, Pages 371-395.
Joan Pedro, Regina Miller
Joan Pedro, assistant professor of education, and Regina Miller, professor of early childhood education, ENHP, presented a paper on “Assessing Preservice Teachers’ Dispositions” at the American Association of Colleges of Teacher Education (AACTE) Conference in Washington, D.C.
Pedro also was a panelist at the Prossor Public Library in Bloomfield, Conn., last month, discussing “The Caribbean as a Melting Pot and Immigration to the United States.”
