Shelly Hartnett, director of the university’s Rehabilitation Training Programs, was elected by her peers from all 10 federal regions as chairperson and convener of the National Consortium of Regional Continuing Education Programs for Community Rehabilitation Personnel (CRP-RCEPs) in January.
The CRP-RCEPs are funded by the Rehabilitation Services Administration, U.S. Department of Education, to provide training to personnel who work in the field of disabilities and employment.
At the National Council on Rehabilitation Education’s Fifth Annual Conference held in Tucson, Ariz., on Feb. 20, Hartnett presented an “Update on Training and Accreditation for Community Rehabilitation Providers."
