Hawks to Host Bucknell Tonight in Women's NIT

The University of Hartford women's basketball team will host Bucknell in the first round of the postseason Women’s National Invitation Tournament (WNIT) tonight (Thursday, March 15), at 7 p.m., in the Chase Arena, Reich Family Pavilion.
Tickets for the game are available through the University of Hartford Athletics Box Office in the Sports Center, or by phone at 860.768.HAWK (4295). For a list of ticket prices, visit the Hartford Hawks website.
The Hawks earned the right to play in the WNIT by winning their second-straight regular season America East title. The Hawks enter the WNIT with an overall record of 24-8. Bucknell won the regular season title in the Patriot League, but lost to Colgate in the conference tournament quarterfinals.
The winner of the Hartford/Bucknell game will go on to play South Carolina on the South Carolina campus.
