Don Ellis, professor in the School of Communication, delivered a lecture at Tel Aviv University entitled “e-democracy: Online Argument Between Israelis and Palestinians.” Ellis is
a Fulbright Scholar at Tel Aviv University.
An article on demonology in the Renaissance by Maria Esposito Frank, associate professor of Italian, appears in the most recent issue of Italian Culture. Her new research focuses on the question of the primacy of the will over the intellect in the early humanists. She presented a paper on that subject at the annual convention of the American Association for Italian Studies held last month in Chapel Hill, N.C.
Judith C. Houle, assistant professor of educational leadership, College of Education, Nursing and Health Professions, presented a paper on “Accountability, School Improvement, or Change? Examining an Urban District’s Efforts to Improve Student Performance,” at the American Educational Research Association's annual meeting on April 14 in Montreal.
