Students filled Mali II lecture hall on Thursday, March 6, to hear what School of Communication alumnus Lee Villas (B.A. '91, M.A., '93) had to say about his career in television syndication.

Currently Senior Vice President and Northeast Regional Manager for CBS Television Distribution, Villas captivated the audience of about 100 with his insider's expertise on the syndication business – including how programs are sold and scheduled, and the new show he is pitching for fall (Villas even treated the audience to a clip).

Students had many questions for Villas about how he got to his current position, how to break into the business, and about syndication itself. Prior to the talk, students and faculty enjoyed a sub sandwich lunch. Both events were sponsored by Lambda Pi Eta, the School of Communication honor society.
