Nursing Students Receive Nightingale Awards
Posted 5/13/2005
Three College of Education, Nursing and Health Professions students, Kathleen Gala, Gale W. Reindl, and Cheng Ping Wang, were honored at a luncheon last month sponsored by VNA HealthCare.
The three, all RN-BSN students, were presented with Nightingale Awards for Excellence in Nursing at the event, which was held at the Town and County Club in Hartford.
The Nightingale Awards, in the form of scholarships, recognize these RNs for making a significant impact on patient care, demonstrating excellence and professionalism, and showing a commitment to their community.
