Two events on campus this week, the Homeless Sleepout and the colloquium on arts education, received significant media attention.

The University’s Homeless Sleepout on Wednesday night was covered by NBC 30 and channels 61 and 3 . Some 30 students participated in the 22nd annual event, which raised money for Project Horizon, a program involving University of Hartford nursing students who provide health and wellness services at homeless shelters, senior centers, and other community settings.

The Hartford Courant gave prominent coverage to the Hartt Community Division’s colloquium on “Equity of Access to Arts Education” in an article by staff writer Colin Poitras.
