Payroll Deadlines for FY 2005, FY 2006

A personnel action form (PAF) or employment roster for additional year-end assignments must be submitted to the Budget Office no later than June 1, 2005 in order to be charged to the current fiscal year budget (FY 2005). Paperwork received after June 1, 2005 will be charged to fiscal year 2006.
All part-time employees, including student assignments, end as of June 30, 2005. To continue the assignments for part-time employees in the new fiscal year, an employment roster form must be submitted by June 1, 2005. Commitments for each fiscal year must be separated on the roster.
Payments for the new fiscal year must be submitted to the Budget Office by June 1, 2005 for the first payment on July 8, 2005.
All faculty contract modifications for FY2006 must be received by June 20, 2005. If they are completed prior to that date, please submit the modifications as soon as possible.
PAFs for all academic-year employees must be submitted with the employee’s working schedule for fiscal year 2006 to the Budget Office. These may be completed after July 1 if the schedule start date begins after July 1, 2005. A PAF must be submitted only if changes occur after the initial PAF was forwarded.
Reminder: Please use the current employment roster form. You may obtain the form from Human Resources Development (HRD) or the Finance website, uhaweb.hartford.edu/finance/forms.htm.
If there are not sufficient funds in a budget line, the Budget Office will be forced to delay processing the PAF or employment roster until the budget is adjusted. This will delay both the employee’s pay and the charge to the proper fiscal year.
