Assistant Professor of Psychology Natalie Frank has been asked to write a series of articles on elder care and abuse for the Senior News newspaper. The first two articles will come out over the summer.
In related news, Megan Dunbar, a graduate student who has worked with Frank for the past two years, recently presented at the Annual Women’s Mentoring and Research Conference held by the university’s Graduate Institute of Professional Psychology (GIPP). Her presentation focused on a project titled “The Power of Friendship in Later Life: Gender Differences in Defining Supportive Relationships and Difficulties in Social Functioning Faced by the Current Elder Generation.”
Frank is leaving the university in order to pursue an alternate career path. She expressed gratitude to her colleagues in the Department of Psychology and also thanked her students, adding that mentoring students has been one of the most fulfilling aspects of her academic career.
