Giannaros to be Interviewed on WTIC Radio Friday

Demetrios Giannaros, professor of economics at the Barney School of Business, is scheduled to be a guest on WTIC radio (1080 AM) on Friday, June 20, at 7:20 a.m.
Giannaros will talk about the Thursday morning arrests of two former Bear Stearns hedge fund managers. The two were indicted for mail fraud and conspiracy in the first prosecution stemming from a federal investigation of last year's mortgage-market collapse.
Giannaros, who also is deputy speaker of the Connecticut House of Representatives, will discuss the indictments and their impact on economic markets.
