Ralph T. Reilly
On May 26, 2005, the Board of Regents voted to grant tenure to Assistant Professor Ralph T. Reilly, Department of Management and Marketing, Barney School of Business.
Reilly received his Ph.D. in Information Systems from the Stevens Institute of Technology and joined the University of Hartford in 1999. As an instructor, he explores with his students, in a highly interactive fashion, the dynamic environment of information systems. His research is focused on human computer interaction and computer applications in management and marketing.
Janet P. Kremenitzer
Janet P. Kremenitzer, assistant professor of education, ENHP, had her paper, “Emotional Intelligence in Teacher Education,” published in the Association for Childhood Education International (ACEI) quarterly journal, Focus on Teacher Education (Summer 2005, Volume 5, No. 4).
The paper discusses how emotional intelligence skills of perceiving, using, understanding, and managing emotions are an important component in teacher training. ACEI is the professional association affiliated with the accreditation process for elementary education teacher training programs.
