Last Week’s Mystery Photo

The Mystery Photo that appeared in the June 22 issue of UNotes showed the Ralph M. Aloisi Memorial Garden, located in the courtyard between the Computer Center, Dana Hall, and United Technologies Hall.

The garden was dedicated in May 2003 in memory of Aloisi, a beloved professor of biology and health sciences who played a key role in the development of the All-University Curriculum and the creation of the University's successful Health Professions programs. Aloisi died in November 2001.

Twenty people correctly identified last week’s Mystery Photo. The first two correct responses came from Robert Fronczek and Paul Mueller of the Grounds Department, who installed the plantings and placed the stones in the memorial garden. Fronczek and Mueller won UNotes Daily mugs, along with the other fastest responders: Laurie Granstrand, Shane Ciccarelli, Fred Sweitzer, and Susan Brown.

Thanks to everyone who responded.
