Summer Construction Projects

Construction work is under way or will begin this week in the following areas of campus:

• The campus loop road between Abrahms Hall and the intersection of Mark Twain Drive



• The patio at the entrance to the University Commons



• The courtyard between E and F Complexes

Repairs to the campus loop road will include reclaiming the existing pavement, and replacing the pavement, curbing, and sidewalk. Access to Konover, Lincoln Theater and the Facilities/Public Safety building will not be affected. While the road is expected to remain passable, delays should be anticipated. Work is expected to be completed by mid-August.

Patio repairs at the entrance to the University Commons are under way. Access to the University Commons is not affected. Work is expected to be completed by July 15.

Work in the courtyard of E and F Complexes is about to commence. Access to these complexes, as needed, may be gained through some doors located on the back side of the buildings. Work is expected to be completed by mid-August.
