Chittaranjan Sahay
Chittaranjan Sahay, professor and chair of the Department of Mechanical Engineering and director of graduate programs, CETA, has been nominated to serve on the Board of Governors of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).
Sahay’s term as an ASME governor will begin in June 2006. He was nominated for the position at ASME’s annual meeting last month.
Ann Costello
Ann Costello, associate professor of insurance, Barney School of Business, recently completed work as a member of the Les B. Strickler Innovation in Instruction Award Committee.
The award is given at the annual meeting of the American Risk and Insurance Association and recognizes an entry according to creativity, content, transferability of the approach to other institutions, and potential for improving the quality of risk and insurance education.
