Fall Weekend Rescheduled
Posted 7/20/2005
The following is an email that was sent to the campus community on July 15 by Suzanne Anderson, Director of Orientation and Parent Relations:
In response to a request from the student leadership of the Hillel Foundation to better accommodate students who wish to go home on the weekend following the Jewish High Holiday of Yom Kippur, the university has changed the date of Parent's Weekend/Fall Homecoming from October 14-16 to October 7-9.
This change will allow our Jewish students, parents, and alumni to participate in the Parent's Weekend/Homecoming festivities. We sincerely regret any inconvenience this may cause to those who have already made travel reservations.
We hope you will join us for this annual campus tradition.
Thank you for your understanding.
Sincerely,
Suzanne Anderson
Director of Orientation and Parent Relations
