Fixing Computer Security Flaws

One of the most effective ways to keep your computer from being targeted by hackers is to regularly install vendor security updates to your computer’s operating system.
The second in a series of articles on improving the security of your computer and data focuses on “Keeping Your Computer’s Operating System Up-To-Date.” The article, from the Department of Information Technology Services (ITS), explains how to install vendor security updates and why it is critically important to do so.
