Faculty and students from The Hartt School are playing key roles in Hartford Stage’s critically acclaimed production of To Kill a Mockingbird.

Professor of Theatre Robert H. Davis served as vocal and dialect coach for the production, which is set in Depression-era Alabama. A recent review in the Hartford Courant praised Davis’s work on the show.

The Hartford Stage production of To Kill a Mockingbird also features Hartt School senior Douglas Lyons in the pivotal role of Tom Robinson. Hartt senior Deirdre Garrett and Hartt alumnus Justin Fuller also are part of this gripping show.

The show, which is the best-selling MainStage production in Hartford Stage history, will run through April 4. For tickets and information, or to see video clips from To Kill a Mockingbird, visit www.hartfordstage.org.
