The Office of Institutional Partnerships and Sponsored Research (IPSR) is offering  upcoming workshops on writing grant proposals and developing budgets to accompany those proposals.

Grant Proposal Writing

Tuesday, March 24

12 to 1:30 p.m. – 1877 Club, Conference Room B

This workshop will cover the basic principles of good grant writing. Special attention will be paid to reading the Request for Proposal (RFP) and how to meet the expectations of grant reviewers.

Grant Proposal Budget Development

Tuesday, April 7

This session will focus on the fundamentals of proposal budget preparation. Discussion will also include considerations regarding effort commitments when submitting proposals.

Please note that the Office of Institutional Partnerships and Sponsored Research requires applications be received: a minimum of 3 working days before the funding agency deadline for institutional signoff; and 10 working days prior to deadline for administrative review and institutional signoff. Appropriate Department Head and Associate Dean (Research) signatures for all applicants/co-applicants must be received by the Office of Institutional Partnerships and Sponsored Research prior to Provost's signature. Please adjust listed sponsor deadlines to accommodate for the institutional deadlines.
