Hartt Vocal Studies Student Performs on Fox 61

Nelson Ebo, a first-year student in The Hartt School vocal studies program, performed on the Fox 61 Morning News on March 18. NBC-30 covered a vigil on the University of Hartford campus in memory of victims of domestic violence. Among those who were remembered was Tiana Notice '07, a graduate student who was fatally stabbed at her apartment in Plainville, Conn., in February. The Delta Sigma Theta sorority organized the vigil, which was held on March 14. Read a transcript of the story on nbcconnecticut.com.

Diana Delva and Lisa Etienne, members of the University’s women’s basketball team, were profiled in the Stamford Advocate on March 14. The article also featured quotes from women's basketball Head Coach Jen Rizzotti. Read the story on stamfordadvocate.com.

 

The Hartford Courant featured a story about Ilicia Mathis, a freshman member of the women’s basketball team, in its March 13 edition. Coach Rizzotti praised Mathis, saying “if she was playing in the early part of the season the way she’s playing now, we’d probably have three or four more wins.” Read the article on courant.com.
