All you really need is a good idea!
The Hartford Consortium for Higher Education is accepting grant requests from faculty and staff for projects to be completed in 2005-2006. The deadline is March 2, 2005. The application is brief and very easy.
The Consortium will give priority to projects that involve two or more local colleges and universities and that either address an issue in Greater Hartford or help to create new academic partnerships. Grants are usually awarded in the $1,000 to $3,000 range.
In addition to the University of Hartford, members of the Consortium include Capital Community College, Central Connecticut State University, Hartford Seminary, Rensselaer at Hartford, Saint Joseph College, Trinity College, and the University of Connecticut.
