As part of an initiative to explore emerging technologies, the Faculty Center for Learning Development (FCLD) is offering a seminar on Facebook and social networking.
Faculty are invited to come and learn more about Facebook from a panel of “experts” – five undergraduates who actively use Facebook.
This is your chance to ask questions like “How safe is Facebook?”, “How can I make sure what I write in Facebook is only seen by friends?”, and “What’s a wall and should I write on it?”. The session will include a quick overview of Facebook, followed by an informal “Q&A” session.
The seminar will be held on Friday, April 3, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., in the Woods Classroom of Mortensen Library. Interested faculty should register by calling 768-4661, or emailing fcld@hartford.edu.
