Earth Week Events at the University

The University of Hartford will observe "Earth Week" with a variety of events:
Monday, April 20: Hog River Cleanup! Join your campus community in picking up litter along the Hog River from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Look for the truck near the river on campus.
Tuesday, April 21: No Butts Campaign! From noon to 2 p.m. in Suisman Lounge, Gengras Student Union. A presentation about why cigarettes are bad for your health, and for the health of our planet.
Wednesday, April 22: Environmental Fair! Outside Gengras from noon to 2 p.m. Alternate location in case of rain will be inside Gengras. Learn about recycling, the impact of plastic water bottles, wind energy, and a myriad of other environmental issues.
