Last Week’s Mystery Photo
The Mystery Photo that appeared in the July 27 issue of UNotes was taken in a wooded area just west of the Harry Jack Gray Center, behind the Hartford Art School.
The photo showed a large drain pipe that inspired someone to write the word “China,” above it, with an arrow pointing to the pipe’s opening. The pipe is visible from the paved path that goes behind the university bookstore and up to the art school.
It is debatable whether the pipe actually leads to the other side of the world – but eight people correctly identified its location on campus. Congratulations to: Robert K. Killian Jr., Linda Zigmont, Susan Brown, Paula Poplawski, Shaneka Giscombe, Norbert Rekosiewicz, Michelle Baratta, and Brian Lehan.
