Susan Coleman, professor of finance, Barney School of Business, has had two articles published recently. "Is There a Liquidity Crisis for Small, Black-Owned Firms?" appears in the Journal of Developmental Entrepreneurship, and "Computer Use in Small U.S. Firms: Is There a Digital Divide?" in the Journal of Small Business Strategy.
James W. Fairfield-Sonn, dean of the Barney School of Business, led a workshop on July 19 titled “Competition, Collaboration, Chasing the Dollar, Is There a Better Way?” for executive directors of non-profit agencies in Fairfield County. The workshop, in Stamford, Conn., was part of the efforts of the Non-Profit Collaborative Alliance to promote greater collaboration among member agencies.
