A Big Basketball Weekend

The University of Hartford women’s and men’s basketball teams both will play home games this weekend, and several special events are planned.
The Athletics Department will donate a portion of ticket revenue from both games to the American Red Cross to help in the tsunami relief effort.
The women’s basketball team will face off against the University of New Hampshire on Saturday, January 22. The game will start at 5 p.m. at the Chase Family Arena in the Reich Family Pavilion. During this game the Athletics Department will be honoring some of the local heroes in our community.
The men’s basketball team will play the University of New Hampshire on Sunday, January 23, at 2 p.m., also at the Chase Family Arena in the Reich Family Pavilion. This game will be a "Fan Appreciation Day." There will be lucky seat drawings where fans will have the opportunity to win great prizes. Fans will receive one ticket free with every ticket purchased for this game.
In addition, this weekend is winter weekend reunion for former Hartford student-athletes. Former student-athletes will be present at both games. For faculty and staff, this is a great opportunity to see some of your former students.
Tickets for both games can be purchased by visiting the Athletics Box Office in the Reich Family Pavilion, calling 860.768.4295, or ordering online at www.hartfordhawks.com. Be sure to show your Faculty/Staff ID to receive the Faculty/Staff ticket price. Come out and support your Hartford Hawks!
