Hartford Art School Dean Power Boothe was a guest on WNPR-FM's "Where We Live" show on April 9.  The Connecticut Public Radio show looked at the impact of the current economic climate on the arts scene and how artists are adjusting to these new realities. Boothe noted that the training a student gets at the Hartford Art School includes the kinds of skills that any entrepreneur will need -- how to take an idea from the beginning stages to development to completion.  You can listen to the interview on cpbn.org.

The accreditation of the University's Master of Architecture degree program was included in the Hartford Business Journal's "Accolades & More" section on April 20. Read the item on hartfordbusiness.com.

The University's Earth Week events received extensive media coverage. Fox 61 and NBC 30 covered the Hog River Cleanup on April 20. WFSB-TV and WDRC-AM covered the Earth Fair held in Gengras on April 22.
