Annual Electrical Shutdown Scheduled for Aug. 21

The university will be shutting off all electricity to the campus on Sunday, Aug. 21, 2005. This is required annually to allow for extensive maintenance on the major electrical system components.
The work will begin at 6 a.m. and all service should be back to normal by 2 p.m. on the same day. If you require electrical service during that time period you should immediately communicate your needs and reasons for power supply to the Facilities Department at 768.7925.
The following buildings will not be affected:

- Alumni House
- Bates House
- Konover Campus Center
- Facilities Building
- Park River
- Regents Park
- Village Apts. 1-7
- Sunday, Aug. 20, 2006; 6 a.m. to noon
- Sunday, Aug. 19, 2007; 6 a.m. to noon
