At a ceremony on May 1, students were inducted into the School of Communication's chapter of Lambda Pi Eta (LPE), the official national honor society of the National Communication Association.
Inductees are chosen on the basis of their high academic achievement and having met the requirements for number of credits completed for active membership in the organization. Students who meet all of the requirements except the 60 credits required for membership in LPE are inducted into the Communication Honor Society.
The students honored at this spring's induction were Chelsea Caplan and Alexandria Hubbard, inducted into LPE; and Bonnie Blethen, Kathryn Carta, Darren Duncan, and Andrea MacDonald, who were inducted into the Communication Honor Society. Dr. Branislav Kovacic of the School of Communication serves as the faculty advisor to the group.
