Important Information Regarding Voluntary Retirement Incentive Program

The following is a message from Human Resources Development (HRD).
If you are eligible for the University of Hartford’s Voluntary Retirement Incentive Program and are considering participation in the program, please contact your designated HR Manager to schedule a meeting to discuss the program and how it applies to your individual circumstances.
In addition, please plan on attending one of the informational sessions noted below:
Thursday, May 28 (GSU, room 335)
12-1:30 p.m. – Social Security Administration
2-3:30 p.m. – “Medicare 101”
Friday, May 29 (Auerbach, room 326)
*10-11:30 a.m. – “Medicare 101”
*12:00 – 1:30 p.m. – Social Security Administration
(*repeat of May 28 session)
In addition, individual 30-minute pre-retirement counseling sessions with a TIAA-CREF individual consultant will take place on Tuesday, June 9, in HRD. Please contact Lindsay McKeegan, HR Specialist, at ext. 4666 or lmckeegan@hartford.edu to schedule an appointment.
If you are unable to meet with the TIAA-CREF representative in person, please call the Telephone Counseling Center to speak with a consultant regarding options. Consultants can be reached at 1.800.842.2776 and are available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. EST, or you can visit www.tiaa-cref.org.
