The following is a message from President Walter Harrison.

Dear Colleagues:

With mixed feelings I announce that Karen Rankin, administrative assistant in my office for the past two years, will be leaving the University of Hartford on June 12 to move with her family to Virginia. Her husband, John, has a wonderful opportunity to continue to advance his career with Pratt and Whitney there, and while Karen is delighted for him, I know she is leaving the University, which has been such an important part of her life, with considerable sadness.

Karen began her career at the University eight years ago in the Student Administrative Services Center before moving to the President’s Office. She has been a valuable member of both staffs, and we will miss her a great deal.

Please join us in wishing Karen a fond farewell and thanking her for her dedicated service to the University on Thursday, June 11, from 3:30 to 5 p.m., in the Henry Roberts Room on the third floor of the Auerbach Computer and Administration Center.

Sincerely,

Walter Harrison
President
