An Update From the Wellness Committee

The following is a message from the University of Hartford's Wellness Committee.
Our Hawk Walkers have been busy over the past eight weeks! The Blended Strength Team walked its way into first place with a total average of 160,026 steps! That equates to nearly 80 miles! Great job to all participants!
As the summer is slowly coming to an end and we look forward to the beautiful New England fall weather, our Hawk Walkers have provided the Wellness Committee with a listing of wellness events in the local area that they support and/or take part in. Many of these events are free and are a great way to keep up on your wellness goals. From 5K runs to golf outings to horseback riding events, there is sure to be something you and your family will enjoy.
We encourage the entire campus community to check out some of these events. Please visit www.hartford.edu/wellnesscommittee/listing.html for a listing of the events we have been provided. Please note that this is not a comprehensive listing of all events in the local area.
