President Emeritus Humphrey Tonkin, director of the President's College, was interviewed by Brad Davis on WDRC (1360 AM) on Tuesday, Sept. 1. Tonkin discussed the upcoming President's College Showcase and President's College course offerings for the fall.
The University High School of Science and Engineering was featured in the Hartford Business Journal on Aug. 31. The school's new building opened on Monday, providing state-of-the-art laboratory and classroom space for 400 students. Read the article on hartfordbusiness.com.
Hadid Simmons, a junior, was featured in an article in the Montclair Times of New Jersey. Simmons spent the summer interning for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid in Washington, D.C. Speaking about his internship, Simmons said "when you're working here, you see the people who actually help out to do the research. You see all the players involved."
