Meet the New Assistant Director for Study Abroad

Susan Carey joined the University on Sept. 1 as the new Assistant Director for Study Abroad. She succeeds Sarah Reuter, who is now the Director of International Studies.
Carey brings a wide variety of international education experience to the University. She has worked at institutions and nonprofit educational organizations both abroad and in the U.S. She lived in Latin America for eight years, and has focused much of her career on providing students with international service-learning opportunities. Carey holds a BA from UMass, Amherst, and an MA in intercultural relations from Lesley University.
Carey would be happy to meet with students to talk about study abroad opportunities. Please call her at 768.5100, or stop by the Study Abroad Office (GSU 328) to get acquainted.
Students who are interested in studying abroad are also encouraged to stop by the Study Abroad Fair on Thursday, Sept. 24, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. outside on the Gengras Lawn.
