Taco Bell to Open at Konover Friday

University Dining Services is pleased to announce the much anticipated opening of Taco Bell at its new location in Konover Campus Center on Friday, Oct. 2, at 7 p.m., providing a new venue for late-night dining.

The eatery was originally scheduled to open in late September, but challenges with the Taco Bell corporate site specifications led to an unanticipated delay. Campus Dining regrets any inconvenience that this delay has caused for students who participate in meals later in the evening.

The Market City Deli, which operates from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m., Monday through Sunday, will offer a meal equivalent as in past years. Taco Bell, which will operate from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. Monday through Sunday, will accept cash, Hawk Cash and credit cards for payment.

Due to the unforeseen delay in the Taco Bell opening, the University Commons cafeteria has extended its hours of service until 10 p.m. for the rest of this week (through Friday evening). During its extended service hours, the Commons cafeteria will serve popular grill items offered at the Hawk's Nest.
