Individuals with Fibromyalgia Wanted for Research Study

Janet Gangaway, associate dean and assistant professor of physical therapy, ENHP, is conducting a research study on the effects of Ai Chi on individuals with fibromyalgia.
Ai Chi is a water-based version of T'Ai Chi, with a focus on flowing movements and deep breathing.
Gangaway is looking for individuals aged 18–50 who have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia to participate in this study. There will be on-campus sessions and eight weeks of twice per week water sessions at a pool at Blueback Square in West Hartford.
