Come to Leadership Quest 2009!
Posted 10/14/2009
The following is a message from Vice President for Student Affairs Lee Peters.
Dear Students,
There is a great opportunity for organizational development and self development coming up, and it can be found at Leadership Quest 2009. This year's Quest is FREE to University of Hartford students and will be held on Saturday, October 17, from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Gengras Student Union.
During your time at Leadership Quest, you will receive valuable leadership training and experiential learning opportunities that will help you in your day-to-day life on campus and in future or current leadership roles. Even if you are not currently in a leadership role, the skills learned here will help you for the rest of your life!
This year we are having our first Leadership Fair, where you can learn how to find leadership opportunities all over campus, such as becoming a Red Cap, an RA, and more.
In addition, you will receive a free continental breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks. This year there will be great prizes too, including a Nintendo Wii! Also, if you are a member of a student club, organization, or chapter, do not forget to put that in the registration information, because the student group with the most members present at closing will win a free pizza party for their group!
Please tell your friends about this opportunity, because no marketing campaign is better than word of mouth (just one of the many things you will learn at Leadership Quest 2009: "Jump into Leadership")
The registration link can be found at http://uhaweb.hartford.edu/sca/rise/lq_registration.html. And if you have any questions, comments or concerns please don't hesitate to contact Max Koskoff at koskoff@hartford.edu.
Have a great day, and please don't pass up this opportunity.
Sincerely,
Lee Peters
Vice President for Student Affairs
