Outing Club Meeting: 'How to Survive in a Rain Forest'

The Outing Club's next meeting, scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 15, will feature a presentation titled "How to Survive in a Rain Forest: A Biologist's Adventures in Costa Rica."

Hillyer College Assistant Professor of Biology Dennis Wasko will show slides and discuss his adventures catching and studying snakes in the rain forests of Costa Rica. Hillyer students should be especially interested, as Professor Wasko may be leading a May term trip to Costa Rica.

The meeting will take place on Thursday, Oct. 15, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in Hillyer 221. Snacks and drinks will be provided. Future trips will be announced and planned.
