New Winterterm Course: 'Sustainability in our Backyard'

A new Winterterm course is being offered this year in which students will develop and implement a campus sustainability project.

The course, POL 290, is titled "Sustainability Policy: Implementation in our Backyard." The class will be offered Monday through Friday from 12 to 4 p.m., from Jan. 4–14, 2010.

In this course, students will learn about the public policy process, campus greening, and sustainability implementation. Students will create a feasibility report for a campus sustainability project, and, as a class, they will implement a campus sustainability project.
