Faculty/Staff Phone and E-Mail Information at Your Fingertips

When you need to reach faculty or staff on campus, the latest, most up-to-date contact information is online at directory.hartford.edu or www.hartford.edu/phonedirectory.
To be more fiscally and environmentally responsible, the University’s faculty and staff phone directory is now online and will no longer be printed.
The online directory is easily accessible and simple to use. You can search by department or by a person’s name. If you don’t know the exact spelling of the name, you can enter just a few letters, click "Go," and all names containing those letters will come up on screen.
If you make many phone calls in the course of a day, you can bookmark the search page or simply open it in a window and minimize it for use throughout the day.
If you still feel the need to have a printed copy of the directory, you can do so by using the telephone directory “print-on-demand” section to the right of the search buttons on the page. It can be printed by names or by departments (organizational directory). But remember, your printed version may not be current for very long because people do come and go throughout the year.
To help ease the adjustment for those who do not have access to a computer, copies of the “print-on-demand” version of the directory will be provided upon request on a one-time basis. Those who need printed copies in the future must make their own arrangements.
To request a “print-on-demand” copy of the phone directory, please contact Linda Zigmont at ext. 4966 or e-mail her at zigmont@hartford.edu. Requests will be accepted through October 23 and the copies will be sent through campus mail by the first week of November.
