Posted 10/30/2009
Did you know that funding opportunities for faculty and staff are available through the Parents Association?
The Voluntary Parents Fund’s Discretionary Grants Program is designed to improve the academic and co-curricular programs at the University of Hartford and to improve the quality of student life by providing funding for innovative programs and projects that will have a long-term impact on the University.
In order to be funded, proposals must demonstrate how the money will be used to benefit a substantial percentage of the students at the University of Hartford. Awards will be granted in the spring and must be spent by June 30 of the following year. Previous grants have been used to purchase a community service van, signage for the University campus, furniture for the library, exterior lighting, emergency telephones, and funding assistance for the campus shuttle service and escort service.
Proposals must be submitted by Jan. 15, 2010.
