Pasquerella Announcement Receives Extensive Media Coverage

The announcement that University of Hartford Provost Lynn Pasquerella has been named president of Mount Holyoke College was covered by a number of media outlets. The story was featured in the New York Times, the Boston Globe, the Boston Herald, the Providence Journal, wbur.org, and wbztv.com.

The Hartford Business Journal featured a story about the University's new Personal Financial Management class on Nov. 2. The article included several quotes from Mitchell Weiss, the adjunct faculty member who is teaching the class. Weiss said "students who are exposed to this material will learn how to make more informed decisions and consequently, live better, more financially independent lives." University President Walter Harrison was quoted in USA Today on Oct. 29. Harrison talked about the possibility that he may be a candidate for NCAA president, saying "I think it's very intriguing to think about.
