Through support from the University of Hartford Sustainability Commission, the campus community will have a unique opportunity to screen a new documentary called Tapped.
This film explores the bottled water industry, asking whether "access to clean drinking water [is] a basic human right, or a commodity that should be bought and sold like any other article of commerce."
The screening will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 17, at 5:15 p.m. in the North Cafeteria of Gengras Student Union.
Tapped was chosen by the International Documentary Association to be a 2010 Academy Award contender for Best Documentary Film.
